At Studio32 Orthodontics, we want to exceed your expectations and help you achieve your dream smile through an efficient and seamless treatment process. We also understand the importance of a confident smile not only after you’ve completed treatment, but during the treatment process as well. We offer different types of braces to help ensure that you are satisfied with your smile both during and after the process.
Types Of Braces
Traditional Metal Braces
Traditional metal braces are the most common type of braces and are more comfortable today than ever before. Made of high-grade stainless steel, metal braces straighten your teeth using metal brackets and archwires. With metal braces, you have the option of adding colored elastics (rubber bands) for a more unique and colorful smile.
Clear (Ceramic) Braces
Ceramic braces are made of a ceramic material that blends in with your natural smile. For this reason, ceramic braces are used mainly on older teenagers and adult patients who have cosmetic concerns. While they are visually less prominent, they do require more attention to oral hygiene as ceramic braces are not quite as durable as their metal counterparts.
Gold Braces
Gold braces work in the same way that metal and clear braces do and treatment time is around the same timeframe. The main difference is, of course, their unique and distinctive gold plating. For patients looking to make a fun and bold statement during treatment, gold braces are an excellent choice.
Why Braces?
When you choose braces you are choosing to improve your smile. Maybe your teeth are crooked. Maybe your bite doesn’t feel right. Maybe you have just one tooth that is turned or sticks out and really bothers you.
Braces are bonded to the teeth and are used to straighten teeth by placing a constant, gentle force in a carefully controlled direction.
As your smile improves, you gain self-confidence. You love showing off your new smile and friends can really see the difference. Most of all, you feel good about yourself! Self-confidence is important to happy relationships and success at school and work. Being happy at home and happy at work leads to a happier lifestyle.
At Studio32 Orthodontics we promise to make your whole orthodontic experience as fun and enjoyable as possible while we work to create that life-changing smile you are waiting for.
