What is Invisalign?

Invisalign treatment uses a series of virtually invisible, removable, and comfortable aligners that allow you to smile just as much during treatment as you would after. Invisalign clear aligners are custom-made with 3D computer imaging technology and have been proven to be just as effective as braces in treating many common orthodontic issues.

Invisalign involves wearing each set of aligners for around 7-10 days, removing them only to eat, drink, brush, and floss. As you replace each aligner with the next in the series, your teeth will move — little by little, week by week — until they have straightened to their final positions. You’ll visit us about once every 6-8 weeks to ensure that your treatment is progressing as planned. Total treatment time averages 12-24 months depending on the issues needing correction. Some of the minimal aesthetic cases can take as little as 6 months and other, more complex cases could take longer to complete.

We utilize the iTero Element Intraoral Scanner, which is specifically designed to allow our team to easily scan and create 3D models of your smile. iTero gives our orthodontists a much more detailed image of your smile, ensuring that your aligners are a perfect fit!
